Randy J. Newman is an American actor. Born in Santa Cruz, California, Newman is the oldest of four children. Following the 1989 Loma Prieta earthquake, which damaged the family home, his family relocated and eventually settled in Salinas, California, where he spent the remainder of his childhood.
