Rachid Sbabou is a Moroccan poet and writer with numerous books and literary articles to his name. He serves as editor-in-chief of Hawamish Thaqafiya (هوامش ثقافية), a literary and cultural digital magazine. His writing navigates the space between literature and social inquiry, exploring the inner lives of ordinary people with a critical and sensitive eye. Steps of Anxiety (Khatawat min Qalaq) marks his debut as a screenwriter, translating his literary sensibility into cinematic form.
