Biography

Louis (Loe or Lou) de Jong (Amsterdam, 24 April 1914 – Amsterdam, 15 March 2005) was a Dutch historian and journalist. He was Director of the National Institute for War Documentation (RIOD) from 1 October 1945 until his retirement on 1 May 1979.
