Pete Saunders

Biography

Pete Saunders is an English pianist, songwriter, and keyboardist who is best known as a founding member and the original Hammond organ player for the pop-rock band Dexys Midnight Runners. He joined the band in 1978 after responding to an advertisement in the Evening Mail. After leaving Dexys, Saunders performed with various 1980s artists like The Damned and Carmel, and played with the punk-cabaret group Serious Drinking.
