Biography

Wale is a Nigerian writer-director based in Hampshire, UK. His award-winning films have screened at over 20 international festivals, including Academy Award, BAFTA, and BIFA qualifying events. Wale’s 2024 short film Yam and Egg premiered at the Crystal Palace International Film Festival, while his debut short Overcomer premiered at the Seattle Black Film Festival and has since been selected by multiple festivals, including the prestigious Palm Springs ShortFest.
