Biography

Nurlan Hasanli is a screenwriter, director, and producer from Azerbaijan. An alumnus of Sarajevo Talents and IDFA Academy, he began his career writing soap operas, mini-series, and fiction films. He later transitioned to directing and producing short films, which have screened at international festivals. His work has been supported by platforms such as IDFA Project Space, CPH:DOX, Berlinale EFM, Ji.hlava New Visions, GoEast Talent Lab, and the Doha Film Institute. He is currently developing his …
