Biography

Nikos Kanakis studied cinema at the LONDON FILM SCHOOL. In 1970 he started his Greek career as an editor and assistant director in short and feature films. Then from 1975 he directs documentaries himself and edits documentaries. In 1981-82 he directs a special series, about 40 documentaries, with the general title "Greece of the 5 Oceans".
