Puerto Rican, filmmaker, and father. He was born in New York to Puerto Rican parents. At the age of 7, he moved to the island with his mother and siblings. A natural writer, even before entering the film industry, he put aside his dream of writing scripts in 2004 when, after stepping onto a film set, he realized the lack of opportunities for screenwriters on the island.
