Mitsuru Hongo (本郷みつる, Hongō Mitsuru, born October 12, 1959) is an anime director born in Tokyo and raised in Niigata Prefecture. In addition to his real name 本郷満 (Hongō Mitsuru), he also uses the aliases ほんごうみつる (Hongō Mitsuru), 郷満 (Mitsuro Gō), 潮乱太 (Ranta Ushio), 渋谷ポチ (Shibuya Pochi), and 猫賀大介 (Nekoga Daisuke).
