Biography

He was born on December 18, 1923 in Leninakan (now Gyumri). In 1940-42 and in 1946-48 he studied at the Yerevan Art College. Terlemezyan. In 1942-46 he participated in the Great Patriotic War. In 1955 he graduated from the Yerevan Art and Theater Institute.
