Matthew Smith is a British television producer and director known for arts, antiques and factual programming. He has worked extensively on the BBC series Fake or Fortune?, initially in production roles and later as a producer-director. His episodes have investigated works associated with artists including Raphael Coxie, Helen McNicoll, Frances Hodgkins and Angelica Kauffmann.
