Biography
Mark Borchardt is an American independent filmmaker, actor, and writer best known as the cult DIY filmmaker featured in the acclaimed documentary American Movie, which chronicled the making of his horror short Coven. A longtime icon of Midwest indie cinema, he most recently served as the narrator for the indie film Once Upon a Time in Carroll County, Iowa.
