Mahiara Meret Sáenz Piña (2003, Santiago, Chile) is an emerging filmmaker, screenwriter, and researcher. Her contemporary work explores the intersections of trauma, territory, memory, and the female experience, blending auteur cinema and political thought with atmospheric elements of magical realism and the fantastic.
