Lina Ross

Biography

Lina Ross is an independent filmmaker and director based in Northeast Ohio. In 2024, Ross wrote and directed three experimental short films, including Cooking with Quilts, which premiered at the Hiram College Annual Juried Art Show and was featured at Akron’s annual The Groundhog Show in 2026. During her time at Kent State University, she served as the head writer and director for the Female Filmmakers Initiative in her senior year, culminating in her short film Casting Call.
