Biography

Leonie Krippenforff (born May 2, 1985) is a German director and screenwriter. She is best known for Cocoon (2020), Looping (2016) and Peeled Skin (2023). Krippenforff received the Bavarian Film Award for Best Young Director for Cocoon in 2020. From 2009 to 2016, she studied at the Film University Babelsberg Konrad Wolf.
