Biography

Kunimatsu Ogawa was a Japanese child actor from the silent era. Born in Tokyo, his father ran a silk shop. Among other roles, he appeared in Sword of Penitence (1927), the debut film of Yasujiro Ozu. He also co-starred in Kinuyo Tanaka's debut film, A Woman from the Genroku Era. Asked about it years later, he described her as his first crush.
