Biography

Kim Torres is a Costa Rican director and screenwriter, recognized as an emerging voice in Latin American cinema. Her short Night Light (2022) was the first Costa Rican film to be nominated for a Palme d'Or at Cannes. Her work has screened at NYFF, Locarno, MoMA, Lincoln Center and the Eye Filmmuseum.
