Biography
Ken Tyrrell (May 3, 1924 – August 25, 2001) was a pivotal figure in Formula 1, renowned for founding and managing the Tyrrell Racing Organisation. Born in East Horsley, Surrey, England, he served in the Royal Air Force during World War II. Post-war, Tyrrell became a timber merchant, earning the nickname "Chopper."
