Biography

Katy Scoggin is a documentary filmmaker. Flood, her directorial debut, will premiere on PBS Independent Lens in 2026. The film begins with Katy's journey home to repair her relationship to her former missionary father before expanding into a dry and poignant family portrait that questions what it takes, and whether it’s possible, to love across deep divides.
