Biography

Born in 1965. Video artist. Graduated from Tokyo Zokei University. Although he was born to a grandfather who was a painter and a cineaste who continued to make documentary films of the local area, and a father who was a news cameraman for a certain television station, he did not get serious about film production until after entering art school. Even though "Ring Android" ('87) was a crazy blockbuster with no story, no sound, and over 45 minutes, it won the Grand Prix at Image Forum Festival '88.…
