Jonas Carpignano

Biography

Jonas Carpignano is a filmmaker based in Gioia Tauro. His short films have been shown in film festivals around the world including Venice, Cannes, SXSW and New Directors/New Films. In 2011 his short film A CHJANA, won the Best Short Film at the 68th Venice Film Festival and was awarded a Nastro D’Argento - Special Mention from the Association of Italian Film Critics (SNGCI).
