Biography

Born in 1995 in Rio de Janeiro, João Victor Borges is an undergraduate in Film and Cinema Studies at Fluminense Federal University (Uff). In 2018, he was awarded as "Best Student Film Cinematographer of the Year" by the Brazilian Cinematography Association (ABC), for his cinematography on the short film “Cravo, Lírio e Rosa”, by Maju de Paiva. He's also been the cinematographer of short films such as “A Casa de Ana”, by Clara Ferrer and Marcella de Finis, awarded by the 2017 Elipse Award, and “P…
