Jannik Weiße

Biography

Jannik Weisse was born and raised in Schwäbisch Hall in southern Germany. He first worked in Berlin as a journalist for renowned documentary and reportage formats for both public and private broadcasters. He went on to study fiction directing at the Film Academy Baden-Württemberg. His short films premiered at festivals such as the Max Ophüls Prize and were honored by FFA and German Films with the Next Generation Short Tiger Award in Cannes.
