Neil Amin-Smith (also known as Neil Milan) is a British violinist and pianist best known as a former member of the Grammy Award-winning electronic-classical crossover band Clean Bandit. He famously performed the iconic opening violin solo on the group's massive 2014 breakout hit single "Rather Be". Since transitioning away from full-time music, he has developed a prominent career in public policy, serving as a trusted economic adviser within the U.K. Treasury.
