James Alexander

Biography

James Alexander is a visual effects producer. As a kid, he was drawn especially to special and visual effects from the violence of ED-209 in RoboCop (1987) to the battle of Hoth in The Empire Strikes Back (1980) and the creature transformation in An American Werewolf in London (1981). He studied film at university, and his first professional job in the industry was as a runner at The Mill in London in 2001, shortly after the studio had won the VFX Oscar for Gladiator.  At The Mill, he gained ea…
