Jake Thompson

Biography

Jake Thompson is an RTS award-winning Welsh screenwriter and director for both film and stage. His previous writing credits include the romantic horror ‘Bloom’ (2022), the RTS-nominated dark comedy ‘Vanishing Act’ (2022), the sci-fi horror ‘Grandma Knows Best’ (2023), the RTS-winning ‘Make a Wish’ (2025), and the zombie horror 'Teething Problems', which won Best Film at the 2025 666 Horror Film Challenge. His most recent film is the sequel, 'Wakey Wakey'.
