Born in 1963 and died in 2020, documentary maker Jaap van Hoewijk was known for documentaries such as Killing Time, Kleine Delicten and Piet is Weg. Van Hoewijk not only became known as a director, but also worked as a researcher, producer and screenwriter. Many of Jaap van Hoewijk's documentaries have been about unsolved cases and mortality from the start of his career.
