Izabel Grondin is one of the leading figures in Quebec's genre cinema, specializing in thrillers, psychological films and horror. Several of her short films have been shown around the world and have won numerous awards. She is credited with the very first DVD compilation of horror shorts in Quebec: Folie passagères : contes trash et sournois which will be followed in 2015 by: Folies passagères 2 : contes troubles et déviants.
