Biography

He is a Japanese singer, part of Sony Music Entertainment Japan. He was scouted by Johnny's Jimusho at age 15 and made his professional debut under his stage name the following year. He belonged to Johnny & Associates, but later left the agency in 1976 to Burning Production Co., Ltd. He married the actress Nitani Yurie in 1987 and they had two daughters.
