Highland Dale has one of the most extensive filmography of any animal in Hollywood. Highland Dale was living on a farm in Missouri when he was discovered by Ralph McCutcheon, a trainer of animal motion picture stars. Mr. McCutcheon sensed Highland Dale’s potential for movie fame. One of his first roles was on the famous television series, Fury, which was so popular that many people began referring to him as “Fury” instead of “Highland Dale”.
