Biography

Hassan Ali was born in 1968 in Erbil, Iraq, he is a writer, director, producer, and employee of the Ministry of Culture of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq in the cinema department. He first entered the arts as a painter and then, in 1991, continued his career as a theater artist. In 1998, he made his first short film, and in 2008, he became president of the Kurdistan Filmmakers Association.
