Biography

Zhang + Knight are a London based directing duo who create vivid films within dreamlike environments. Their unique imagery uses light and shade to construct texture rich compositions, a symptom perhaps of Zhang’s desire to be a painter in another life (Knight wanted to be an opera singer). Their video ‘Softly’ for Arlo Parks showcases their dazzling set design with a surreal cityscape unraveling before her.
