Gracyn Carter

Biography

Gracyn Carter, originally from Orlando, is currently a fourth-year student studying Film and Media Arts and Digital Media at the University of Tampa. Her first film, an experimental short, Insomnia (2025), follows a young girl through a restless night. Shortly after, Figure Drawing (2025), a short documentary following and exploring her grandparents' love through art, won Best Documentary at the Black Box Film Festival.
