Biography
Frank Tarloff (February 4, 1916 - June 25, 1999) wrote nine episodes of The Andy Griffith Show under the pseudonym of David Adler. He worked under a false name as a result of being blacklisted after his testimony for the House Un-American Activities Committee. He also wrote episodes of the TV series "I Married Joan", "The Real McCoys", "The Donna Reed Show", "The Dick Van Dyke Show" and "The Jeffersons".
