Diego García
Biography
Diego García, born 1979 in Mexico, is a cinematographer who graduated from Centro de Capacitación Cinematográfica. His debut was Without (2011), followed by a breakthrough with Fogo (2012). He worked with directors like Apichatpong Weerasethakul, Gabriel Mascaro, Carlos Reygadas, Paul Dano, and Yorgos Lanthimos on films like Wildlife (2018) and Nimic (2019). Known for his painterly style and high-contrast lighting, García won the 2020 Robby Müller Award.
