Biography

Diego Araujo is an Ecuadorian filmmaker. He was born in Quito, Ecuador, in 1975, he received a scholarship to study an MA in screenwriting at the University of Bergen in Norway and subsequently studied directing at Florida State University in the USA. After having worked as an editor in New York for several years he returned to Ecuador in 2012 to shoot his first feature film Feriado (2014), which premiered at Generation 14 at the Berlinale.
