Biography

David Gamburg was born on August 6, 1950 in Riga, Latvia. Later he moved to Leningrad, in 1972 he graduated from the theater department of the State Institute of Culture. Krupskaya with a degree in film director. While serving in the Baltic Military District, he was engaged in amateur performances, wrote music and lyrics for the Sprīdītis ensemble.
