Daniel Chávez-Ontiveros is an award-winning Mexican filmmaker and film editor based in the California Bay Area. He is known primarily for his editing work on documentary features, including two films directed by Rodrigo Reyes, 499 and Sansón and Me — the latter co-edited with Andrea Chignoli — both of which screened at major festivals including Tribeca, Hot Docs, and Sheffield Doc/Fest.
