Daichi Murase

Biography

Murase Daichi was born and raised in Shiga, Japan. He spent his childhood watching American films because it made up most of his father’s collection. After entering Kyoto University of Art and Design, he began to study filmmaking. At 19, he directed his first short film FORGET BUT (2019), which was screened at the Cannes Short Film Corner in 2019.
