Biography

Johannes Christiaan Baay (1904 - 1991) was a Dutch actor. Starting out as a civil servant, he made his stage debut at the age of 26 at the Amsterdamsch Tooneel company under Albert van Dalsum and Eduard Verkade. He has subsequently been associated with a great many Dutch theater companies. With the exception of the war years, he was active on stage, as well as film and television, until he was in his late seventies.
