Benjamín Macaya Velásquez

Biography

Digital animator with studies in Visual Arts from Universidad de Chile and in Animation from Instituto Profesional ARCOS. He has worked as a visual artist on the short film Letargo (2022) and as an art direction consultant and production assistant on the experimental animated short films Merced 717 (2021), Caja Negra (2022), and Ángel (2023). He served as assistant professor in the 2D Animation Workshop course in 2024. In 2025 he started directing his animation short film Corre Conejo ¡Corre!
