Ariel Barros

Biography

Ariel Barros is a Brazilian film director from Sergipe, Brazil. He graduated in Film and Audiovisual Studies from the Federal University of Sergipe (UFS) and also studied Advertising Direction at ESPM São Paulo. In 2026, he wrote and directed his first short film, “Óleo”, selected for the Short Film Corner at the Festival de Cannes and a finalist at the ABC Awards in the Student Cinematography category.
