Biography

Anna Carina Roller (born April 20, 1993 in Munich) is a German film director and screenwriter. After graduating from the Kurt-Huber-Gymnasium in Gräfelfing, she completed an internship in the production of the film Tom und Hacke and as an assistant director at the Neuköllner Oper. With the support of the funding program “In eigener Regie” for youth media groups in Bavaria, she made the film Kuntergraudunkelbunt, for which she won the German Newcomer Film Award in 2013.
