Angel pursued acting in 2015 after being an extra on various shows such as Fox's Empire and NBC-Universal's Chicago Fire, Chicago PD, appearing in various independent films, and later landed a speaking role on an episode of Chicago Med in its third season as "Hector Ramirez." in 2020, he wrote and starred in a short film called "Clown Shoes", to which he received the Best Actor award in the Breakout Film Festival in 2023.
