Andrea Nix is an Oscar®, Emmy® and Peabody® award-winning director, producer, and writer. She is best known for her films Inocente (2012), which won the Academy Award for Best Documentary (Short Subject), War/Dance (2007), which was nominated for Best Documentary at the Academy Awards, and the Emmy and Peabody-winning film, Life According to Sam (2013).
