Biography

Alia "Ali" Rusu-Tahir is a Moroccan and Romanian actress, born in France and raised throughout Canada. Her mother is an architect and a writer, and her father, a computer science researcher. She is best known for playing Sasha in the psycho-thriller film, Kryptic, which premiered at SXSW 2024. She has also performed in a number of festival short films, most notably Passiflora, a queer love story screened at the Crazy8s Gala.
