Biography

Alex Norton is a Scottish television, film and voice actor. He is perhaps best known for his roles as DCI Matt Burke in the STV detective drama series Taggart, and Eric Baird in BBC Two sitcom Two Doors Down. He played eleven roles in Bill Douglas' 1986 film Comrades and has starred in the key films of Bill Forsyth (Gregory's Girl, Local Hero and Comfort and Joy) as well as big Hollywood productions like Braveheart, White Hunter Black Heart and Patriot Games.
