Alex J. Marek (known online as AJMarekArt) is an American 2D animator, storyboard artist, cartoonist and illustrator best known for creating the web series Murphy & Mitzi. He initially began his animation career by studying at the Cleveland Institute of Art from 2015 to 2019, directed the short film Drought & About (2019), and has worked as a part-time animator, artist and intern for companies like American Greetings, Sesame Workshop, Epipheo and more.
