Overview

Filmed clandestinely over eight years at a city Zoo, the film is a sonic and visual journey where time unfolds differently. An intimate, furtive gaze: bored orangutans, turtles floating in darkness, gorillas that return our stare. A zoo built more than 130 years ago on the colonial logics of progress, where sadness and a strange beauty coexist today.
