Voyeur

Overview

Voeyeur examines the tension between a procedural and an intuitive approach to structuring filmic experience. Once the procedure is established, that is, the filming through a window of a windowshade moving in the wind, it is interrupted by the insertion of similar point of view shots that are contrasted in color, motion, and perspective. A tension is maintained in the thwarted expectation of a fixed-focus, single activity experience through unexpected bursts of window imagery.
